In short

This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking code, and has no forms. We only process personal data in two cases: when our hosting provider serves the site to you, and when you email us.

Serving the site

The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), acting as our processor. On every visit it necessarily processes your IP address and the basic data your browser sends (such as browser type, the page requested and the time), to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. We do not use this data to identify visitors or build profiles.

• Purpose: secure and reliable operation of the site.
• Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
• Retention: for a short period, under Cloudflare’s data processing terms. [To be confirmed.]
• Transfers outside the EU: Cloudflare may process data in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

If you email us

We use your email address, your name and anything you include in your message to reply to you and, if you ask, to send you a proposal.

• Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For other enquiries, legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Retention: [1 year after the enquiry is closed], unless the law requires us to keep it longer, for example for accounting.
• Recipient: our email provider, [email provider name], acting as our processor.

Theme setting

If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) so the site looks the same next time. This data never leaves your device, and you can delete it in your browser settings at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected, deleted, restricted, or handed over to you (data portability). You can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email us at the address above and we will reply within one month.

If you think we have violated your rights, you can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., naih.hu), or go to court.
